Evaluation of combustion characteristics performances and emissions of a diesel engine using diesel and biodiesel fuel blends containing graphene oxide nanoparticles

Abstract In this study, the performance and emissions of a compression combustion diesel engine were investigated. The net blends with waste cooking oil (WCO) biodiesel (5 20%) considered as control fuel blended graphene oxide nanoparticles (GONPs) (30, 60, 90 ppm) evaluated. was operated at full load 1,500 rpm brake power (BP), thermal efficiency (BTE), specific consumption (BSFC) besides CO, CO 2 , NO x appraised in two sections emission, respectively, According to results D 95 B 5 G blend, GONPs had positive effect on BP. BTE also showed significant improvement 60 . increase decrease emissions. Overall, it can be concluded that introduced suitable alternative additive for WCOs blends.
